Rabbi Mordechai Rhine

Picture
The SEHC community welcomed Rabbi Mordechai Rhine in August 2013 as the new Rav of their kehilla. Rabbi Rhine's warmth and desire to connect with others is reflected in his focus on relationship building, with many years of experience working with Jews of all backgrounds, helping each individual reach their potential and achieve their goals. His halachic and hashkafic guidance are highly sought after, based on his breadth of knowledge and the personal attention he strives to provide. In addition to his experience working with adults, Rabbi Rhine has been particularly effective in connecting with and guiding youth as a prior Gemara and Navi Rebbe at the Foxman Torah Institute (FTI) High School in Cherry Hill.
One of Rabbi Rhine's personal initiatives that gives him great satisfaction is the founding and directing of TEACH613, an organization focused on Harbotzas Torah through classes and virtual media. Many of Rabbi Rhine’s educational Torah classes are downloadable from TorahDownloads.com, TorahAnytime.comand TorahMedia.com. Rabbi Rhine is the author of The Magic of Shabbos: A Journey Through the Shabbos Experience, which received an approbation from Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, then Chief Ashkenazic Rabbi of Israel. He is also the producer of The Perek Shirah Collection, an audio series on scriptural zoology.
