Vaad Harabanim of Greater Washington
Former Honored Members of The Vaad Harabonim
Rabbi Gedaliah Anemer zt'l, Rabbi Hillel Klavan zt"l, and Rabbi Kalaman Winter zt'l, were pillars of the Vaad Harabanim and our beloved community. Their contributions endure and are felt by anyone who patronizes a kosher establishment, uses a mikvah, or sends their children to a Jewish day school in our city. They were beloved to their families, their colleagues, and their congregants. Sadly, we are no longer able to thank them personally for their life long dedication to the tzibur. Instead, we must thank Hashem for the privilege of having known them and dedicate our lives to continuing their holy work.
